My Approach to Therapy
In working with clients therapeutically, I aim to strike a balance between affirming your experience in the world and helping you make changes that suit the lived experience you desire. My hope is that by speaking your past and present thoughts and experiences aloud, you can find new agency and possibility in how you navigate the world.
My foundation is in relational concepts—you exist in context, and that context is important. I enjoy working collaboratively and use an integrative approach that stems from Psychodynamic and Narrative foundations.
I work from an LGBTQIA+/kink/sex worker affirming stance, welcoming all cultural identities. I strive to honor the nuances of anyone who enters the therapeutic space. I previously worked in the arts world, and I embrace interest in incorporating creativity of any kind into the work. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and get to know your unique challenges and needs.
